Marrowbone Dam Photo Gallery
NRCS is using a new construction technique to rehabilitate Marrowbone Creek
Dam. Rehabilitating the dam will ensure that it meets current dam design and
safety criteria. If left uncorrected, the lives of approximately 160 residents
and 72 commuters would be at risk. In addition, 39 homes, two businesses,
a water treatment facility building, and four roads could be flooded, causing
approximately $2,000,000 in damages.
To follow the dam rehabilitation progress, photos will be updated regularly
until the project is complete.
