Outreach Strategies

A.  Outreach Plan...

Every Service Center maintains an Outreach Plan.  If you have not seen it, track it down and check it out.  A plan is meant to be used as a tool, not just to fulfill a requirement.  You may even need to update many of the items, or show that progress has been made.

B.  Guidance on Conducting Outreach...

The NRCS Social Sciences Institute has many publications that support outreach efforts.  Many of them even describe outreach strategies. 

The People, Partnerships, and Communities series provide guidance to the conservation partnership about how to effectively work with people and communities.  Check out the SSI PPC series at:
