Earth Team Volunteers
NRCS needs people who are
willing to commit their time and talent to conserving and protecting soil,
water, and wildlife for their community and everyone in it.
Recognizing that many Americans wanted to do
their part to protect the environment, Congress passed a law allowing USDA agencies to use volunteers to help them accomplish their missions.
Since 1990,
nearly 12,000 Virginia Earth Team volunteers have contributed more than 400,000
hours to keeping our water and air clean, and our land productive for humans and
wildlife.
Why Become A Volunteer?
